Denis La Touche - Is a free-lance professional photographer who has been living on Waiheke for 6 years. Prior to that he lived in France for 13 years, in the heart of southern French wine.
He uses a Canon 1Ds camera with 2 lenses – 28-80mm and 100-300mm. His intention is to produce images that do not fail to touch or move the viewer, whether it is by the use of bold colours or subtle forms. He likes photographs that make the viewer think, or laugh through their humour.
Denis likes to use his images to illustrate books that he has authored and in some cases published, such as The Les Mimosas Cookbook, Colours of Wine, Waiheke Wine and Food guide. For subjects, Denis chooses to photograph landscapes and people in their landscape, as an ardent foodie, food and wine shots.
He has covered a number of events on the Island, such as the Jassy Dean Garden Safari, Sculpture on the Gulf, Easter Jazz Festival and is a regular contributor of images to the
local media.

Denis is available to undertake assignments and commissions.
